We have owned Gargarou Retreat for 5 years now. We don’t live at Gargarou all year, we also have an apartment in Brighton on the South coast of England - overlooking the sea as well!
Rachael is an artist and Pete teaches self-development courses and workshops.
Before focusing on bringING up her family, Rachael graduated in Ceramics at the Royal College OF Art and established herself as an exhibiting artist. She is now resuming and renewing her work as a practicing artist. See earth and fire page for work in progress.
In 2005 and 2006 we hosted a number of holistic workshop weeks, with dance, meditation and yoga which ran very successfully. In 2010 we are planning a series of creative arts workshops. It is our vision that Gargarou Retreat is a place where people come to renew their holistic well-being and creative inspiration.
