Gargarou Retreat     villas for long lets in the Peloponnese, Greece

The villas are available for long lets of 3 months or more at €575 per month.

(Please don’t ask us for short term lets as we don’t provide them.)

Why are we offering long term lets and not holiday rentals? We enjoy living simply and quietly in a very beautiful natural environment and would like to provide the same opportunity to others. The longer rental periods give enough time for us all to fully appreciate this wonderful area of the Peloponnese - have a look at our reviews page for a flavour of life here as experienced by some of our visitors.

Gargarou retreat is in a quiet rural area of olive groves with the main road 1km further inland so there is very little traffic noise. In fact, the villas are  in our  own olive grove, so you feel you are in the landscape, not just looking at a view.

The villas are detached and all have a double/twin bedroom with attached bathroom, a living/dining room and small separate kitchen.

The villas are ideal for people looking for somewhere secluded and ‘off the beaten track’ in natural surroundings.

We limit booking to 2 people per villa so that there is always a sense of tranquility here.

Sandy Gargarou beach is just 15 minutes walk (1km) down through olive groves and there is a taverna further along the beach which has very good food.

The large local village Harakopia is 2 km away (30 mins walk), and Koroni, a lovely medieval port is 5km - 10 mins by car or you can get a bus there from Harakopio.

There are many places to visit in the area: quiet villages, medieval towns, citadels, beaches, nature reserves, waterfalls and many ancient sites.

There is a very good supermarket 20 minutes walk away along a track. If you are willing and able to walk to the village it is not essential to have a car, most people stay here without one. See practicalities
