Kalavryta and mountain railway guide

The railways runs for 22 km from Diakofto a station on the main line from Patras to Athens. It winds its way through the Vourkaikos Gorge for 22km to Kalavrita. The railway is famous for the stunning and sometimes heart stopping views down into the gorge.
