Koroni travel guide

Koroni is our local town, its a lovely venetian port with a citadel; a relaxing place to stay with a waterfront lined by cafes, bars and restaurants, and a long sandy beach within walking distance. Everyone who comes to stay loves the the town, yet its only really busy during the month of August. This is partly because there are no package tour holidays here, Koroni has been a resort for a long time but in the past mostly for Athenians. Today independent tourists from across Europe visit, and there is a small but growing number of foreigners living in the area, but in the evenings there are more Greeks eating in the restaurants than tourists, and you can be assured of good traditional food and an authentic Greek atmosphere.
